With the countdown to the ICC World Cup fast approaching its blast off, the air in the sub-continent is tense with anticipation while fans are palpitating from a omniscient cricket frenzy. Their act will be followed by the croonings of Bangladeshi stars before school children will put on a show of their own, after which a performance showcasing of subcontinental culture will take place. The itinerary will be rounded off by a fireworks display and a laser show. It will truly be a spectacle to remember and a fitting way to herald in another edition of the ICC World Cup.
